PROCEDURE: To a secondary vessel, add A and start mixing.
Add B, heat to 85°C, then add C, in order. When homogeneous,
add D and mix until well dispersed. Add E to the main vessel,
dissolve F with continued mixing, then add G, stirring until fully
incorporated. Start heating to 80°C and add premix of H. When
both phases are homogeneous and at their designated temperatures, slowly add the oil phase (A–D) to the water phase (E–H)
with prop mixing. Start homogenizing and cooling. When batch
reaches 55°C, start sweep mixing and continue cooling. Add
I and continue mixing until fully incorporated. Add J and continue mixing until fully incorporated. When completely smooth,
perform final quality assurance checks. PROPERTIES: ( 25°C):
Appearance—Very pale yellow cream; Viscosity (RV, T-D, 5, 20 &
100 rpm, cP)—43000, 14100 & 4300; pH— 6.2
