PROCEDURE: Combine all ingredients except silica silylate in a
mixing vessel. Mix at 700 rpm with marine propeller until homogeneous (at least 15 min). Increase mixing speed to 1000 rpm. Add
silica silylate very slowly while continuing to mix until uniform.
PROCEDURE: Melt phase A at 85-87°C. Once phase A is completely melted add phase B and homogenize for 15 minutes. Pour
or scoop into packaging while still hot. Smooth out tops with spatula when solidified. Pigment Blends—Gold: 50% Sunprizma Super
Gold; 50% Sunpearl Gold. Dark Purple: 20% SunPrizma Concord
Crush; 42% SunPrizma Cherry Marmalade; 22%; Spectraflex Focus
Violet; 16% Sunprizma Sapphire Night.

PROCEDURE: Add water to a container and turn on the agitator.
Add surfactants and mix until homogeneous. Add sodium chloride to adjust viscosity. Add fragrance and dye under mixing. Adjust pH with citric acid or sodium or sodium hydroxide to pH
between 5.0-5.5. PROPERTIES: pH as is— 5.0-5.5; Viscosity at
25°C— 3,500-6,200 cps; Appearance at 25°C—clear viscous liquid;
Storage stability 4 weeks at 25°C—stable; Storage stability at 4
weeks at 50°C—stable; Freeze/thaw 3 cycles—requires gentle mixing after freezing.

Escalol 587 (ISP) (Octisalate) 5.00
PROCEDURE: Combine all ingredients in phase A and heat to
80°C. For phase B, disperse the Structure Zea starch and Celquat
L-200 polymer into water, add the Varisoft BT 85 with mixing, and
heat to 80°C. Keep mixing until all the ingredients are well dispersed. While maintaining the 80°C temperature, add phase B to
phase A with good agitation. Add phase C into phase AB at
70~ 75°C and then homogenize the batch for at least 10 minutes.
Slowly keep mixing at 500 rpm and cool to 40°C. For phase D, premix the triethyl citrate into the Hydrovance moisturizing agent
until dissolved. Add all the ingredients of phase D to phase ABC.
Continue mixing the batch and cool to room temperature.
PROPERTIES: pH— 6. 25-6. 75 Viscosity— 14,000-18,000 cps (Brookfield
RVDV-II+, RV 6#, 10 rpm, 25°C). •
